After graduating with honors and becoming a Paralegal in 2006, Sheena Marie Jones hit the ground running. She began her legal career in Criminal Law, working within the Prosecution Office, Superior Court of Justice, Newmarket Courthouse. Sheena started her voiceover career as the prominent voice of her local Courthouse as the voice that could be heard over the Courthouse telecom and answering machine system.
Sheena is well-versed in legal terminology, procedures, and concepts, having extensive background with examining statutes, regulations, and precedent cases to support legal arguments. Having worked in numerous law firms of various sizes, alongside Attorney’s specializing in Criminal Law and Corporate Law.
Presently, Sheena has been working within Corporate Legal Department’s to assist in legal matters relevant to business as well as dedicating her time to working pro bono on human rights, animals’ rights, and victim services cases, all causes that are near and dear to her heart.
In 2024, Sheena was nominated as a recipient of the Humanitarian Ambassador Award from the International Women’s Achievers Awards, which acknowledges and honors the accomplishments and contributions of women in world-wide community development. She is passionate about being an advocate for women and girls who are victims of crime, and she is being recognized for that work.
Court-based Victim Services is still present in Sheena’s life today as she assists in providing information, assistance and referrals to victims and witnesses with the goal of trying to make the Court process less intimidating to marginalized communities, ensuring that access to justice is available to all.
Having had the privilege of working with many law firms on the legal side, Sheena is excited to become the voice of your law firm, no matter the legal focus.

The performing arts have been a big part of Sheena’s life ever since she was a child, and she was reinspired to return to her first love, acting, after observing the theater of the Courtroom. Sheena’s bubbly personality gives a real sparkle to her voice. Her authentic excitement and easy directability make her a treat to work with, and clients like Stella Artois, Running Free, and Urban Planet have entrusted her to bring their words to life.
Sheena marches to the beat of her own drum — her spirit shines bright. Outside of her voiceover work, she has a passion for nature and animals. She rescues and keeps chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, a donkey (Fiona), bunnies, a pony and two horses whom she adores. The multifaceted nature of Sheena is what sets her apart. Her legal background means she’s well versed in relaying complex jargon, she has experience collaborating with a wide range of individuals, and she knows the importance of utmost professionalism. Her down to earth, nature loving spirit blended with her legal grit creates her wow factor — she can do it all!
Sheena’s voice is well suited for Commercials, Promos, Narration, IVR, E-Learning, Video Games and Animation. She has extensive training with Mary Lynn Wissner, Dave Fennoy, Thom Pinto and Jodi Gottleib and records out of her broadcast quality home studio in Toronto.
